Background
Dr. Darrell L. Young, P.E., has spent multiple decades at the intersection of engineering, AI/ML, and complex systems, including leadership roles in industry, defense, and academia. His current research focuses on cryptographic verification of AI behavior, zero-knowledge compliance proofs, and execution-time policy enforcement.
Dr. Young serves as Adjunct Research Fellow at the SMU Darwin Deason Institute for Cybersecurity and Adjunct Professor of Electrical Engineering at Southern Methodist University. He is also a member of SMU's Quantum Information Research Group.
Wave3's patent portfolio includes CMARK (cryptographic attestation), GaleStorm (AI-auditing-AI), Cayley-ZKP (zero-knowledge compliance verification, co-developed with SMU), ChatPack (attested AI expertise containers), LockCheck/EF-PF (execution-time policy enforcement), DeviceWallet (hardware root of trust), and SCAR (constant-shape audit receipts).
